I started the national social enterprise, The Money Carer Foundation, in 2009 to provide independent appointeeship services to vulnerable adults across the UK.

Over the years the organisation has won awards for innovations such as it’s Carers Shopping Card System that provides greater protection for vulnerable people and their carers and in 2017 the company was selected to represent Best Practice and Innovation in the finance category of The Parliamentary Review.

I am considered a ‘thought leader’ in all matters relating to daily money management in the UK and have also assisted Government departments and other organisations overseas who are developing similar services to safeguard their vulnerable members of society.

I was also instrumental in developing the Appointee Security Bond to mirror the requirement of Court appointed deputies to take out a separate security bond to protect the assets of P under deputyship.
